Variability of modern German language

Abstract
The article deals with the German language as a dynamic social phenomenon, an important characteristic of which is variability; different levels of variability – grammatical, semantic, lexical, etc. are analyzed; the diversity of the concept of “variability” on the example of Austrian German language is stressed.
