Verification of Checking of the Validity and Effectiveness of Damage
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2017, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper presents a methodology for identifying some stress concentrators based on the modal analysis performed using MSC Patran and MSC Nastran programs. The influence of a beam crack on its own frequency is practically insignificant. In order to emphasize this concentrator and its position, a modal shape processing method is used, by way of a program developed in EXCEL.

Mechanical testing of CFRP materials for application as skins of sandwich composites
Sandwich structures are ultralight materials that are part of a special class and consist of two face skins, that are thin, light and stiff. These materials are of great interest for aeronautical and aerospace applicatio...
Design of Air Traffic Control Operation System
This paper presents a numerical simulation for a different aircraft, based on the specific aircraft data that can be incorporated in the model and the equations of motions which can be consequently solved. The aircraft f...
Wind tunnel testing of the IAR 99 SOIM aircraft equipped with means for discovery and control of weather risk phenomena
This paper presents wind tunnel tests on an IAR 99 SOIM model equipped with means for discovery and control of weather risk phenomena. In order to obtain the aerodynamic characteristics of the new configuration of the IA...
Low-Order GAM Admire System in Landing Preparation Phase
In this paper the symbolic and numeric computations for the simplified GAM (Generic Aerodynamic Model) Admire system are presented . The numeric computations were performed into the MatLab environment with the aim of pre...
Profiles with Coanda effect, necessaries to wind turbines
The air flow separation around profiles and the wind turbine rotor vibration leading to the blade breaking is a well known phenomenon based on which the present work is conceived. The paper is focused on theoretic and ex...
