Verification of Checking of the Validity and Effectiveness of Damage
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2017, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper presents a methodology for identifying some stress concentrators based on the modal analysis performed using MSC Patran and MSC Nastran programs. The influence of a beam crack on its own frequency is practically insignificant. In order to emphasize this concentrator and its position, a modal shape processing method is used, by way of a program developed in EXCEL.

Evolutionary, Iterative Optimum-Optimorum Theory
The performing of the aerodynamical, global optimized (GO) shape of flying configurations (FCs) leads to an enlarged variational problem with free boundaries. The optimum-optimorum theory was developed by the author in o...
INPROV - an environment for stress analysis of aeronautical structures
The main objective of this paper is to develop a set of tools and integrate techniques in a software package dedicated to stress analysis of aeronautical structures.
Simplified Mathieu’s equation with linear friction
Consider a second order differential linear periodic equation. The friction coefficient is real positive constant. Some transformation of the solution and its first derivative allow writing two-order differential equatio...
Numerical Methods for Transverse Vibration Analysis of Straight Euler and Timoshenko Beams
This paper presents a short review of numerical methods used for lateral vibration analysis in the case of straight Euler and Timoshenko beams. A particular integral method is described with more details. This approximat...
