VIRTUOSIC MOVEMENTS AS A PHENOMENON OF FOLK CHOREOGRAPHIC ART

Abstract
The article considers virtuosic movements as an independent phenomenon of folk choreographic art, demonstrates the main ways of virtuosity development, its features are revealed. The concept of virtuosity can be considered concrete-historical, because at each stage of the development of choreographic art it meant a different level of performing abilities. It is concluded that the process of aesthetic dances contributed to the development of solo dance, virtuosity of single-dancers, is an integral part of the process of the formation of folk dance and professionalization. It is noted that buffoons played an important role in the formation of a complex of virtuosic movements of folk choreographic art. A specific feature of virtuosic movements is the obligatory nature of the preparatory, rehearsal period. It is noticed that the range of male virtuosic movements of folk choreography of the majority of ethnoses is much wider than that of women, which is connected not only with physical possibilities, but also with cultural archetypes.
