Abstract
У статті висвітлено актуальність ідей патріотичного виховання для сьогоден- ня; окреслено погляди Василя Сухомлинського на проблему виховання патріотичних почут- тів у дитинстві; обґрунтовано виділені ним грані патріотичного виховання, такі як бачення і розуміння світу, формування патріотичної свідомості, виховання почуття вдячності та благо- родного серця, горіння серця, не шкодувати себе, сплата громадянського боргу суспільству
