Abstract
This article considers the influence of the properties of working agents (freon, hladon) on the efficiency of the heat pump. The characteristic features of freons are analyzed, their advantages and disadvantages are revealed from the point of view of application in such devices. As an example, the choice of refrigerant for a steam compression heat pump was made.
