WATER TREATMENT IN MAGNETIC FIELD
Journal Title: Енергетика і автоматика - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 3
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of the magnetic field on the change in pH and oxidation-reduction potential of water. On the basis of the performed researches it was established that the change in the pH and the oxidation-reduction potential of water when processed in a magnetic field depends on the square of the magnetic induction and the velocity of the water. When the magnetic induction is changed from 0 to 0.065 T, the pH of the water increases, and with its further increase it decreases. The oxidation-reduction potential initially decreases and then increases. The most effective treatment of water takes place with a magnetic induction of 0.065 T and a velocity of water 0.4 m/s. Under this treatment, the yield of crops increases by 10 – 15 % and the quality of products improves.
