Wavelength Division Multiplexing
Journal Title: International Journal of Engineering Sciences & Research Technology - Year 30, Vol 1, Issue 8
Abstract
In Wavelength Division Multiplexing so each light path can carry a huge amount of traffic and if end-user applications. Hence fault-tolerance path which carries traffic during normal operation is called as primary path. In case any failure occurs, the same traffic is rerouted on an alternative path that may be called as backup pat routing approach for establishing primary and backup paths. In order to establish the primary path, this approach uses load balancing in which link cost metrics are estimated based on the current load of the l backup path setup, the source calculates the blocking by sending a small fraction of probe packets along the existing paths. It then selects the optimal light path with the lowest blocking probability. This approach reduces the blocking probability and latency at the same time increases the throughput and channel utilization.

ELECTRIC CHARGES ON PHOSPHOR PARTICLES DETERMINE FEATURES OF LIGHTED FL TUBES
The lighting devices such as coil-EEFL tube, HCFL tube, PDP and flat fluorescent lamp (FFL) use the opaque phosphor screen as the transducer from the UV lights to the visible lights. The phosphor screens as the tr...
ADVANCE DIGITAL IMAGE COMPRESSION USING FAST WAVELET TRANSFORMS COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS WITH DWT
Image compression means reducing the size of graphics file, without compromising on its quality. Data compression is defined as the process of encoding data using a representation that reduces the overall size of d...
Performance of Capacitor Supported SRF based DSTATCOM in Three-Phase Four-Wire Distribution System under Linear and Non-Linear Load Condition
In this paper, the four-leg voltage source converter (VSC) with capacitor in its parallel, was functioned as a distribution static compensator (DSTATCOM). In three-phase four-wire distribution system, DSTATCOM was...
