WAYS OF IMPROVEMENT THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE STUDY EFFICIENCY

Abstract
Purpose. To analyze effective teaching methods for foreign languages in higher educational establishment. Methodology. To determine the characteristics and effective forms of work, contributing to the development of foreign language skills studying and analysis of special literature in the field of pedagogy, didactics, teaching methods of foreign languages, comparative method, and method of system analysis have been used. Finding. Improving the quality of foreign language training for a future specialist involves not only mastering the complex of theoretical foreign language knowledge, but also the practical skills formation that will enable him to use a foreign language as a means of information and scientific activity, professional communication, systematic replenishment of his professional knowledge, commissioning to the world information space. In the process of teaching foreign language for creation a system of knowledge it is advisable to use not one, but a set of methods: explanatory or informational-receptive, problem, heuristic or part-search, research, simulation, operational, communicative, comparative and other methods. It is necessary to take into account the principles of the necessity and adequacy of the content of teaching a foreign language for the purposes of learning and the availability of content in general and its parts in particular. Originality. The examples of learning technologies are described. The importance of a systematic approach to the organization of studying process is emphasized. Practical value. The practical value of the study is that its theses reveal the essence of the competence approach, the conditions for its implementation in higher education and can be used in practical classes in foreign lan-guages. Conclusions. The structure of the exercise system for the formation of foreign-language communicative com-petence is determined by the combination of different types of exercises, each of which has its own specifics.
