SOFTWARE-HARDWARE COMPLEX FOR THE TASK OF PERSONAL VOICE AUTHENTICATION

Abstract
Purpose. During the pre-study mathematical models of human voice signal as a localized human voice structures has been developed. To approbate and fulfill mathematical models of human voice for the task of personal authentica-tion in practice a software-hardware complex has been developed. Methodology. The mathematical modeling of human voice taking into account the individual aspects of the signal has been performed in the specified domain of human voice characteristics such as fundamental frequency and human voice amplitude structure. For the task of human voice signal recording a set of hardware has been chosen. Each recording is processed by author’s algorithms, vocal frag-ments of the voice are extracted, each vocal fragment is divided into separate frames. For every frame the chosen char-acteristics are defined. on the basis of these characteristics localized human voice structures are built. Results. The method of personal authentication by human voice analysis has been developed taking into account the form and loca-tion of localized human voice structures in specified human voice characteristics domain “structure-frequency”. A spe-cial criterion for the task of personal authentication by this method is defined. Software-hardware complex for the task of personal authentication in the form of a combination of hardware and software subsystems, the main components and blocks of which are: input sensors and converters block, voice signal processing block; allocation of the main character-istics of the voice signal block; a system of acceptance of an authentication decision, which together with the software and information software implement the developed methods and models. Originality. For the first time, the system for the task of personal authentication has been formed as a combination of software and hardware parts. The software part implements human voice analysis and personal authentication algorithms, developed by author. Practical value. The developed complex can be used in different acoustic environments for different speakers with the required accuracy and reliability. References 11, tables 1, figures 2.
