WAYS OF TRANSLATION OF THE ENGLISH NEOLOGISMS DATED 2015-2017

Abstract
The article is devoted to the notion of english neologisms. It defines this linguistic phenomenon as a word or word combination, used in the language in a specific period to denote something new or to acquire a new meaning in addition to existing ones. Derivation, abbreviation, blending, eponymy are the main productive ways of forming neologisms. Transliteration, transcribing, loan translation, descriptive translation and direct insertion constitute five ways of translating english neologisms into the ukrainian language. A professional translator does not only render the meaning of a neologism but also creates its equivalent in the target language in order to enlarge its vocabulary. Thus, to be brief and unambiguous, onecomponent neologisms are conveyed via the transliteration or transcribing with explication. Loan translation is employed for multi-component lexemes. If it is impossible to use the above mentioned three ways the descriptive translation is suitable.
