WIND INSTRUMENTS IN JAZZ MUSIC

Abstract
The article devoted the specificity of the reference to wind instruments in jazz. It is noted that the leading feature of jazz art is style diversity. An important factor that contributed to the popularization of a musical instrument at a particular historical moment was its correspondence to the demands of the time, as well as the possible transformational processes that influenced its improvement. A characteristic feature of jazz art is its versatility, because if a specific metrorhythmic component is observed, the use of almost any wind instrument will be expedient. Choosing this or that wind instrument for playing jazz, it is necessary to be guided by the principle of correspondence of its semantically expressive and technical possibilities for the embodiment of the artistic image.
