Wizerunek nauczyciela wczesnej edukacji w pedagogice Anieli Szycówny

Abstract
The paper is situated in the author’s research on the topic of the image of early childhood education teachers in Polish pedagogical literature in the XIX and XX centuries. This is the third paper in that series, after the earlier published studies on the pedeutology conceptions of Adolf Dygasinski and Henryk Wernic. The present paper consists of three parts. The part I it is an introduction in which the author presents origins of the applied psychology, pedology, and pedeutology in Europe as well as the position of Aniela Szcowna in this research field. The part II it is the biography of Aniela Szycowna. The author highlights first of all the Szycówna’s novel works in the area of the applied psychology utilization in the early childhood education. The part III is the most extensive one. This is an analysis of the Szcowna’s scientific works on the creation of a model of the early childhood education teacher. This model includes the teacher’s knowledge, skill as well as moral and social attitude.
