World Leadership in Technology: Experience of China and Japan

Abstract
The article observes China and Japan experience in creation national innovation and its infrastructure. The author presents effective mechanisms for inspiring innovation among corporation. Presented main factors of the state regulation of innovation at present stage of global development. Particular екоattention is given to the development of the institutional background for the interaction of the public sector, academic and manufacturing. Subject of research is the experience of successful innovation systems in China and Japan as a technology leaders. Purpose of the article is to analyze the innovative systems and relevant infrastructure which are used in the leading countries of Northeast Asia – China and Japan. Conclusions. China and Japan have created strong scientific and intellectual potential that can steadily implement the chain of «education – science – technology – industry», which is needed for development of effective national innovation system. Financial support of the companies engaged in R&D, government procurement program, capital attraction, foreign technology transfer; coordination of the state investment program with goals of the national industry are defined as a significant factors.
