Wpływ specjalnych stref ekonomicznych na poziom zatrudnienia w Polsce / Impact of Special Economic Zones on Employment Level in Poland

Abstract
The aim of this article is to demonstrate the impact of Special Economic Zones on the labor market’s situation expressed by the increase in employment. The subject of the studies was all Special Economic Zones, operating in Poland between 2010 and 2015. The analyzes were conducted on the basis of Information on the implementation of the Act on Special Economic Zones, which were published in the reports of the Ministry of Economy (2010–2014) and the Ministry of Development (2015). The collected empirical material lead to the statement that, from the viewpoint of the local labour market in Poland, Special Economic Zones play a key role because business entities operating in these zones have been increasing the number of new workplaces for years.
