Abstract

Critical events and stress associated with them are an integral part of the work in emergency medical services. Effective and safe tension relieving is an important skill and personal competence. If an employee’s personal defense mechanisms are supported by appropriate procedures recommended and used by their employer, than it is easier for them to keep good psychophysical condition. Falck Medycyna uses Program Debriefing, which is a psychological support of its employees.
