Wstępne wyniki wpływu podchowu wylęgu troci (salmo trutta m. Trutta l. 1758) na żywym zooplanktonie na przeżywalność i wzrost w warunkach naturalnych

Journal Title: Roczniki Naukowe Polskiego Związku Wędkarskiego - Year 2010, Vol 23, Issue

Abstract

The study describes an experiment in feeding trout fry on three diets: the first consisted of only zooplankton, second was a mixture of zooplankton and dry food, and third was only dry food. Each diet was applied before stocking and the effect on survival, increase in body mass and body length were evaluated. The best parameters prior to stocking were obtained for the fry fed on dry food and a mixed diet and they were statistically significantly higher than those obtained for the fry fed on zooplankton (P < 0,05). However, after stocking the situation was opposite and the fry fed on zooplankton was characterised by the highest survival and the greatest increase in the body mass and length, statistically significantly higher than the corresponding parameters of the fry fed on dry diet (P < 0,05).
