Występowanie grzybów w powietrzu wybranych uzdrowisk Dolnego Śląska

Journal Title: Przyroda Sudetów - Year 2018, Vol 21, Issue

Abstract

The occurrence of fungi in the air of selected spas of Lower Silesia The diversity and concentration of fungal spores in public buildings depends on the building’s function. The studies were carried out in four mountain sanatoria in four different locations. Air analysis was performed in two most often used rooms and outside the buildings. In order to ascertain the degree of air pollution we used the collision method. We identified the species composition and determined the density of fungal spores per cubic metre. The results varied among the air samples and showed a dependence with both the room and the location of the object. The most frequent species were Aspergillus s. nigri, Rhizopus nigricans and Epicoccum nigrum. The standards of mycological air pollution for public rooms were not exceeded in any of the objects.
