Wyznaczanie nacisków w strefie kontaktu szyny z kołem z zastosowaniem Metody Elementu Skończonego

Abstract

The paper presents a methodology for the determination of contact pressure for the rail-wheel system. The solution to the problem posed is the basic knowledge necessary for proper part design. Previous solutions to the problem in the analytical way (using Hertz's theory) were approximate because of far-reaching simplifications. The proposed numerical solution using the Finite Element Method significantly reduced the number of assumptions and simplifications compared to the analytical solution, resulting in significantly better results. The model of the actual behavior of the test object is modeled. The overall model of the wheel-to-wheel contact can be modified to obtain specific cases.
