Wyższe szkolnictwo ekonomiczne w Polsce wobec wyzwań kryzysu

Abstract
W artykule wskazano główne właściwości obecnego globalnego kryzysu finansowego. Niektóre z nich występowały w wielu poprzednich załamaniach gospodarczych, niektóre jednak nie ujawniały się lub nie występowały z taką intensywnością. Do tych pierwszych należą: wystąpienie bąbli spekulacyjnych na rynku aktywów finansowych i na rynku mieszkaniowym oraz ekspansja kredytowa i jej załamanie. Do nowych właściwości należą: wiodąca rola zakłóceń w sektorze gospodarstw domowych, znacząca rola rynku instrumentów pochodnych i rozbudowanie tzw. dźwigni finansowej oraz nowe metody wyceny i „przenoszenia” ryzyka (sekurytyzacja wierzytelności i szybki rozwój segmentu rynku papierów o podwyższonym ryzyku (subprime securities).
