Wzmocnienie pozycji mediacji i arbitrażu na gruncie nowelizacji Kodeksu postępowania cywilnego

Abstract
On September 10, 2015, the act amending the existing provisions of the Polish Code of Civil Procedure and other acts was adopted. Alternative methods of dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration, have become the subject of wide interest of both the legislator (both European and national) and representatives of the doctrine in recent years. In Polish conditions, in practice, it is still noticed that ADR, including mediation and arbitration, hardly makes way for widespread use as an alternative to judicial methods of resolving disputes. The rules introduced by the above amendment are introduced to change this situation. In this study, these changes will be discussed and evaluated.
