Yield and seed quality of bean seeds in the conditions of Transcarpathia

Abstract
The article highlights results of research about productivity formation of beans varieties Mav-ka, Pearlyna, Nadiya depending on fertilizing level and seed inoculation in conditions of non traditional for culture region Transcarpathia of Ukraine. It was established that improvement of plant nutrition conditions due to mineral fertilizers introduction (N45P15K20) and seed inoculation by risophyte P on soddy podzolic heavy soils of Transcarpathia is an effective influencе on yield of studied beans varieties and grain quality indices. This contributes to yield formation of beans 2,90 t/ha in variety Mavka, 2,94 t/ha in variety Pearlyna and 2,21 t/ha in variety Nadiya. Seed inocula-tion provided a grain yield increase from 1,0 to 13,1% depending on variety and fertilizer. Nitrog-enous nutrition provide increase of protein content in the grain of studied varieties. Variety Nadiya was characterized by higher flavoring qualities and quantity of protein in grain, the content of which varied from 25,2% to 27,9% on average over the years of research. Mechanized harvesting of beans reduces seed quality due to the seed damage, germinating energy in this case does not exceed 89%, laboratory germination 91%. Higher seed quality has seeds of beans variety Nadiya.
