Zabezpieczenie logistyczne jednostek ratowniczych w długotrwałych akcjach

Abstract
Prolonged rescue operations are organized relatively rarely and constitute approximately from 5 to 10 percent of all rescue operations. This is why the logistical potential of emergency services is adjusted to conducting short rescue operations which last up to 6 hours. Consequently, the logistical sections of emergency services have little experience in organizing andproviding the logistical security of prolonged rescue operations, as they involve the use of a great amount of manpower and equipment for a long time. The knowledge of logistical and medical needs of emergency services is a challenge for logistical services and the fundamental condition for the effective management of logistical resources in prolonged rescue operations.
