Abstract
The article examines the issue of public involvement in the evaluation of police activities. The author determines the state of regulatory and legal regulation of public participation in the activities of the police. The forms of public influence on the process of formation and implementation of state policy are outlined. Particular attention is paid to determining the content of the assessment of the level of public confidence in the National Police.
