Abstract
The article examines specifics of the provisions on the status of state enterprises in Ukraine and their influence on the way the methods of administrative law are applied to manage them. We examine role of the boards of oversight and their role in transition to more indirect methods of administrative law in managing state enterprises. The article proposes ways to improve legal framework of the state enterprises activities and their management.
