Abstract

Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW) is one of the types of pre-excitation consisting in an additional conduction path between atria and chambers (the so-called Kent bunch). Its presence certainly increases the risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD). The diagnosis of WPW is based on the ECG assessment.
