Зміст та структура тренінгу «Психологічні особливості управління педагогічними працівниками в освітніх округах» [The content and structure of the training "Psychological features of teaching staff management in educational districts"]

Abstract

The article discusses the objectives, tasks, duration and structure of the training course "Psychological features of teaching staff management in educational districts" which includes the introduction, main and concluding parts. The training sessions consist of the content-informational (new knowledge acquisition), diagnostic (determining the levels of knowledge and managerial experience) and correctional-developing (primary skills development and enrichment of managerial experience) components. Each training session uses the following interactive techniques: individual work followed by group discussion, incomplete sentences, group discussion, brainstorming, work in pairs, individual tasks, creative tasks, analytical work in small groups, etc. The concluding part of the training course aims to generalize and reinforce the skills and knowledge acquired by the trainees during the training. In order to measure the levels of the trainees' knowledge a set of seven-unit tests was used, each unit corresponding to one training session. The trainees' primary skills were determined by analyzing the trainee's creative projects, whose goal was the development of educational district teaching staff management programs based on innovations and educational districts' specializations. The training course ensures active involvement of heads of educational institutions in the cognitive and practically oriented activities to promote their mastery of both knowledge and skills necessary for their efficient professional and administrative work.
