Zoomorphism in the terminological system of the Ukrainian language

Abstract
In the article the nature of zoomorphism have been investigated from the point of view of the sources of the associative connection between an animal and a human, the terms for the metaphorical transfer “animal → human” have been considered, the meaning of the term zoomorphism has been disclosed and the modern interpretation of this term has been explained in the broad and narrow meanings, which are actively used in linguistic practice.
