ZOONYMS TRANSONYMISATION IN MODERN UKRANIAN ERGONYMIYA

Abstract
ERGONYMIYA Recent growth of the number of ergonyms during last ten years requires theirs systematization and investigation. Among other subgroups of transonymizated onyms the zoonyms are fixed. But they are still to be studied. Only the groups of transanymizated antroponyms and toponyms were considered by linguists before. So, the aim of the article is analyzing the names of objects of trade, service and entertainment founded on the territory of different regions of Ukraine, especially the regional centers, in recent years, and formed by transonymization of zoonyms. Different structural types are distinguished. Ten types are shown. The words, defining animals, birds, fishes, reptiles, proper names of books’ and cartoons’ heroes are widely used for naming of numerous kindergartens, children’s cafes and shops, rest camps. These names have positive connotation and widely spreaded. The text is supported by many examples. According to the examples it is possible to see the same zoonym is used for naming of various objects in different cities. The most numerous groups of studying ergonyms –the objects of services for children and farms – are determined. The fixed lexical units of investigated onyms belong to different languages – Ukranian, Russian, English. Further study of transonimizated zoonyms is possible as a contrastive analysis of the names of the various regions and their structural and semantic features, as well as the study of the process of their formation and functioning
