Zwrot w uzależnieniach – Udział nauk biologicznych i społecznych w przeformułowaniu polityki wobec substancji psychoaktywnych Streszczenie debaty naukowej (marzec 2016)

Abstract
Przedstawione tu naukowe podsumowanie wywodzi się z prezentacji i dyskusji podczas A-Debate (ALICE RAP1 Debate) „U-Turn on Addictions – Biological and social sciences to reframe drug policy”, która odbyła się 17–18 lutego 2016 roku2 w Barcelonie i online. Projekt ALICE RAP (http://alicerap.eu/) z funduszem 10 milionów euro jest 5-letnim (2011–2016) działaniem współfinansowanym przez program FP7 Unii Europejskiej w celu zbadania, jakie jest miejsce uzależnień i związanych z nimi stylów życia we współczesnej Europie. W ciągu tysięcy godzin prac naukowych, z zaangażowaniem wielu dyscyplin nauki – od antropologii do toksykologii, analizowano biologiczne, ekonomiczne, historyczne, medyczne, polityczne i społeczne czynniki determinujące używanie substancji psychoaktywnych i zachowania z nimi związane. Podsumowanie składa się z trzech części: biologii i uzależnienia, zapobiegania i leczenia oraz horyzontalnej polityki wobec substancji psychoaktywnych (governance).
