Abstract

This work provides a short analysis of algorithms of multipath routing. The modified algorithm of formation of the maximum set of not crossed paths taking into account their metrics is offered. Optimization of paths is carried out due to their reconfiguration with adjacent deadlock path. Reconfigurations are realized within the subgraphs including only peaks of the main and an adjacent deadlock path. It allows to reduce the field of formation of an optimum path and time complexity of its formation.

Abstract

Routing data packets in a dynamic network is a difficult and important problem in computer networks. As the network is dynamic, it is subject to frequent topology changes and is subject to variable link costs due to congestion and bandwidth. Existing shortest path algorithms fail to converge to better solutions under dynamic network conditions. Reinforcement learning algorithms posses better adaptation techniques in dynamic environments. In this paper we apply model based Q-Routing technique for routing in dynamic network. To analyze the correctness of Q-Routing algorithms mathematically, we provide a proof and also implement a SPIN based verification model. We also perform simulation based analysis of Q-Routing for given metrics.

Abstract

In this paper, we define the algebraic structures of a bipolar Q – fuzzy sub HX group and some related properties are investigated. We also define a bipolar Q – fuzzy normalizer and establish the relation with a bipolar Q – fuzzy normal HX – group. Abstract

Aim of the paper is to obtain solution of parabolic, elliptical and coupled partial differential equation using Reduced Differential Transform Method (RDTM). The results are compared with solution obtained by other methods. It is observed that RDTM is easy to implement, accurate and efficient. It reduces volume of computation and save time.

Abstract

Abstract–Modern block ciphers are designed to meet confusion and diffusion criteria. Substitution and permutation layers are used in the round function for this purpose. In this paper, we present a number of choices for diffusion layer by using circular shift and XOR operations. These two operations are most efficient for software implementations. We test all possible combinations of circular shift and XOR operations for 16-bit and 32-bit words. We search for optimal number of circular shifts to provide the maximum value of branch number. We also search for secure diffusion layers with efficient inversion for SPN based block ciphers. We categorize the diffusion layers according to the value of their branch number. Finally, we suggest a list of secure and efficient diffusion layers for new block cipher proposals. We also compare the security of a model block cipher using one of these diffusion layers with other lightweight block ciphers.

Abstract

In this article, we propose a two-dimensional polynomial basis which extends Legendre series approximation to bivariate functions. We also present a theoretical study of the stability and the error estimation of the Tau spectral method in the constructed basis.

Abstract

In this paper, we present a numerical method to solve linear and nonlinear high-order Volterra integro-differential equations. This method is based on interpolating by radial basis functions, using Legendre-Gauss-Lobatto nodes and weights. The proposed method reduces the main problem to linear or nonlinear system of algebraic equations. Some numerical examples illustrate the efficiency of the presented method.

Abstract

A simple host-parasite type model has been considered to study the interaction of certain plants and herbivores. The two dimensional discrete time model utilizes leaf and herbivore biomass as state variables. The parameter space consists of the growth rate of the host population and a parameter describing the damage inflicted by herbivores. Perceptive bifurcation diagrams, which give insightful results, have been present here showing chaos and complexity in the system during evolution. Measure of complexity and chaos in the system be explained by performing numerical calculations and obtaining Lyapunov exponents, topological entropies and correlation dimension. Results are displayed through interesting graphics.

Abstract

Hash functions have prominent role in cryptography because of their ubiquitous applications in real world. Earlier, it was used for authentication only but with continuous research and development, it has been started using in almost every branch of information security. Its global approach made us to introduce few more applications in real world. We use MGR [3], Neeva [1] and KN hash [2] functions for this purpose. In this paper, few new applications of hash functions have been addressed which can sustain attacks using classical as well as quantum computers.

Abstract

The big data is playing a big role in the field of machine learning and data mining. To extract meaningful and interesting information from big data mining is a challenge. The size of the data at social media and Wikipedia are increasing exponentially. To visualize such huge data is another aspect of big data. The roles of graphs are becoming important in case of visualization and modelling of such data. Gephi and R are two important visualization and exploration tools in this field. Using graph, one may find and calculate modularity, eccentricity, Indegree, Outdegree, betweenness centrality etc. In this paper, we had used Dbpedia, facebook and twitter datasets. We had used Gephi and R to look inside the structure of such data and comparing different statistics based on the graph by exploring the graphs.

Abstract

Since the first decade of the 21st century, information and communication technology has become both a tool for the individual and, in many cases, a way of life. Undoubtedly, the Internet has revolutionized the society in which we live, has affected every sector of the economy, but at the same time has led to the emergence of a new phenomenon called digital divide. The aim of the present paper is to study the existence of long-term connections (cointegration) between the degree of use by individuals of information and communication technology (ICT) and social indicators which characterize the level of development at regional level (NUTS 2) in Romania. Results confirm the presence of significant direct influences of Participation rate in education and training and Gross domestic product on Percentage of individuals who ordered goods or services over the internet for private use. The results found from Romania can be generalized and compare to other countries which have similar features in terms of ICT and the level of economic development.

Abstract

Development of computer aided system to diagnose dermatological disorders works as a second opinion when skin diseases have very little differences in clinical features. Support Vector Machine (SVM) is a good classifier for non linear data with appropriate choice of kernels. Generally, Positive (semi) Definite (PSD) kernels called Mercer’s kernels are used in SVM. Mercer’s condition is the traditional requirement for classical kernel methods like SVM. But, for many empirical data indefinite kernels can give better result. In this study we use SVM with a novel kernel (Modified Gaussian Kernel) which is Indefinite (ID) kernel to diagnose skin disorders. We also investigate various distance substitution kernels to diagnose skin disorders and determine Eigen values of the Gram matrices obtained from two dermatological data sets under study to discuss their definiteness property. Results show that our proposed modified Gaussian kernel gives good classification accuracy to diagnose dermatological disorders.
