The countryside literature as a source of ethnobotanic information in the wars for the independence of Cuba

Abstract
An overview of the independence campaign literature that emerged in the Cuban military strife in the nineteenth century and, through a selection of works, provides examples of the possibilities of information for ethnobotanical studies found in them.
