A SMALL TOWN WITH THE VIEW ON HEALTH RESORT

Abstract
Public space of a small town with a dominant function of a health resort requires careful development and designing. The state of this space attests to the standard and attrac-tiveness of a holiday and tourist town. Historical connections of the public space with health resort areas of Głuchołazy located in Śląsk Opolski have been presented in this article. The areas with a dominant, specialist function are isolated here from the town center and at the same time, they are connected with a historical center by means of the main traffic route. Recognition of an axial bond has significant influence on long-term planning and revitalization decisions.
