CULTURAL HERITAGE AS AN ELEMENT USED IN THE PROCESS OF REVITALIZATION OF SMALL CROATIAN TOWNS

Abstract
Historical factors have shaped the unique cultural heritage of Croatian towns. The use of their resources in order to revitalize urban complexes is a continuous process based on the unique values making up the city. The morphology of the terrain and centuries-old culture meant that some of them are tourist mecca of Europe. Sustainable development is a fundamental right and consistently and in accordance with these projects help main-tains the achievements of past generations.
