Abstract
Almost every city has its hidden values, which activation may reanimate it. However, development, in particular cities with reach cultural heritage resources, could cause many threats. Since a few years, in Głuchołazy, located on the polish-czech borderland, inten-sive trials of those assets usage have been undertaken. Currently implemented remedial programmes for cultural heritage preservation, will have a crucial meaning for its further functioning.
