ARCHEOLOGICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL REMNANTS OF SZTUM REGION AS A FACTOR OF ITS TOURIST ACTIVATION AND URBAN REVITALIZATION

Abstract

Article decribes the issue of making legible, in the contemporary cultural area - Eastern Pomerania, archaeological and architectural relics related to the Prussian civilization based on a chronicle of Peter from Dusburg and other historical sources. On example of the historic town Sztum author attempts to reconstruct the remains of the old Prussian strongholds of Sztum land and consider their potential use as tourist products in the process of urban revitalization.
