SMALL TOWNS IN POLAND AND THEIR OPPORTUNITIES OF IMPLEMENTATION OF COHESION POLICY AND INTEGRATED REVITALIZATION

Abstract

Small towns are important element in the polycentric structure of Poland. The new finan-cial perspective of the EU cohesion program creates for them new development opportu-nities. Small towns are incubators of future generations and a the repository of culture and traditions. They can become a testing ground for the new cohesion policy in the field and integrated revitalization policies.
