A study of the effect of strategic entrepreneurship on obtaining competitive advantage in insurance industry (case study: Karafarin Insurance Company in Fars Province)

Abstract
The aim of this study is exploring the effect of strategic entrepreneurship on achieving competitive advantage in Karafarin Insurance Company in Fars province. In terms of aim, the preset study is of applied type and in terms of data collection procedure, it is of descriptive-correlational type. The sample of the study consists of 89 employees and representatives of Karafarin Insurance Company in Fars province selected using census method. The data collection tools were SE questionnaire and competitive advantage questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaires was verified by experts and their reliability was calculated to be 0.91 using Cronbach’s alpha. The data in the study were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the study indicate that SE affects achieving competitive advantage and entrepreneurial mindset significantly affects creativity and innovation.
