About two interrelated issues of Ukraine power engineering development

Abstract
Two interrelated priority issues of Ukraine's energy development, the solution of which will ensure the functioning of the boiler park at a high level of technological efficiency, are considered. The content of the issues and the main factors affecting them are presented. The first issue is the need to update worn-out equipment of the energy sector of Ukraine. The possible and feasible ways of solution are presented: partial, then complete renewal of boiler-furnace systems and boiler-auxiliary equipment. The second issue is the need to normalize the structure of the fuel balance of the energy sector in Ukraine. The possible ways of solution by reducing the share of expensive imported gas-fuel oil are proposed. An important circumstance was noted: the first and the second issues under consideration are closely and comprehensively interrelated, that is, actively influence one another. Information is provided on the progressive, innovative saturated boiler-furnace technologies of the low-temperature fluidized bed and volumetric cooling of the furnace, which are promising for the domestic energy industry and the expected structure of its fuel balance. It is pointed out that the intensive and successful development of the boiler industry in Ukraine is an urgent task of the state level of importance. Attention is drawn to the paramount importance of the task of increasing the level of ecological efficiency of the functioning of the boiler-furnace system. The essential role of the solution of the issues considered in terms of fulfilling the tasks of the national energy saving program is shown. It is noted that the really existing ample opportunities and high professional potential of the manpower, scientists and producers of the energy and engineering industries guarantee a successful solution of complicated complex related issues in the field of normalizing the state of the domestic boiler park and raising the level of technological efficiency of its operation in the near future.
