ADVANTAGES OF INFORMATIVE COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES FOR FORMING SOCIOCULTURAL COMPETENCE IN THE COURSE OF RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract
The present paper aims to describe the experience of implementing new information technologies in teaching Russian as a foreign language. A journalistic environmental text has been analyzed in order to reveal ways to make the text adapted for Russian audience. Cultural and historical knowledge about modern Russia introduced in an explicit and implicit manner has been explored. The result of the study is in building exercises using ICT. We discuss topics that are important for the understanding of modern Russian culture, and provide methods and techniques to identify cultural layers in the text with the help of computer technology. The practical application of the research results is possibly seen as a part of practical training in the Russian language, as well as in seminars on semantics and style for future journalists.
