Air traffic controllers preparation in highflight educational institutions in Ukraine

Abstract
It was characterized domesticair traffic controllers system of preparation in this article. Particularly, it was underlined distinctive aspects of future air traffic controller’s preparation in Ukraine. The role of initial training was indicated while future air traffic controllers preparation. Main professional disciplines which future air traffic controllers study in the Flight State Academy of National Aviation University was considered. It was highlighted the necessity of improved training preparation in special occasions in flight while future air traffic controllers preparation. It was underlined main points of practical education, it’s crucial content. It was also mentioned that the process of studding covers three 4 academicals years. The Ukrainian system of preparation of aviation dispatcher is analyzed on the example of the Flight Academy of NAU, in particular, attention is paid to the curriculum, normative and selective disciplines. The specialized disciplines studied by the future air traffic controllers are described directly at the Air Traffic Service Department. According to with the “Methodological recommendations for drawing up the curriculum of higher educational institutions of II, III and IV levels of accreditation”, the courses of free choice of cadets are also presented. The schedule of distribution of hours between types of disciplines in the curriculum of specialty “272 Aviation Transport”, specialization “Air Traffic Management” is investigated. The practical training of future air traffic controllers is described. The necessity of in-depth practical training of future air traffic control dispatchers is revealed. The basic types of practices that are used in the preparation of future air traffic control dispatchers, in particular, educational, informative, professional and technological practices, are revealed. It is indicated that after the end of the practice, the cadet is obliged to demonstrate a filled diary of practice and to make a note in practical training.
