«АЛІЯ» У СУСПІЛЬНО-ПОЛІТИЧНОМУ ЖИТТІ ЄВРЕЇВ МІЖВОЄННОЇ ПОЛЬЩІ

Abstract
The artircle deals with the problem of Jewish movement to Palestine which is known as so-called “Aliyah”. The author analyzes the perception of the Jewish migration and British colonial policy in Palestine during the interwar period by the Jewish population of Poland. He concludes, that Polish Jews took an active part in the discussion about the future of the Jewish State and Jews in Palestine. Most of the information that we get from the sources deals with the problems of the political situation of Palestine dealing with British attempts to stop the “Aliyah”. Another issues were – the life of the Colonies, the economical live of Palestine ad perspectives of further migration and Jewish activity. In general, we can say that Polish Jewry not only was interested in the events that took place in Palestine but also participated in those actions by itself.
