Abstract
The aim of the paper is to analyse the interventions of emergency medical teams in the case of diagnosed bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other internal and non-traumatic conditions (INTC). The medical documentation of the Voivodeship Emergency Medical Services Station in Katowice of 2016-2017 (n = 487 345) was analysed in terms of prehospital emergency care provided by the Emergency Medical Services in Poland. 59 184 interventions of 2016-2017 were analysed. 2 947 cases of bronchial asthma, 1 746 cases of COPD and 54 491 INTC cases were identified in the study group.
