Analysis of communication noise dangers on the example of housing estate near road S86 in Będzin

Abstract
Main sources of communication noise are: the engine together with power transmission system, tyres which cooperate with the road surface and aerodynamic phenomena. Together with the speed increase the dominant source of noise is aerodynamic noise and noise generated by tyres cooperating with the road surface. Methods of reduction of communication noise level can be divided into legal (norms) and technical ones. Among the technical solutions of noise level reduction there are acoustic screens, improvement of condition and type of the road surface, active methods as well as solutions applied by vehicle producers – improvement of aerodynamics of vehicle, use of tires with decreased noise emission, the so-called “green tyres”. This article shows the analysis of the communication noise danger for housing estate on Piłsudskiego street near road S86 in Będzin.
