Analysis of the categories "power" and "power" in political science

Abstract
The article analyzes the categories of “power” and “force” from the point of view of their etymology, polysemanticity, conceptual load, nuances of use in contemporary socio-political discourse. The necessity of clear demarcation of these concepts is grounded to avoid their simplified and distorted use, which prevents adequately realizing the realities of political processes and phenomena.
