Journal Title: ІНОЗЕМНА ФІЛОЛОГІЯ - Year 2015, Vol 128, Issue

Abstract

M. Hodovanets made thirty nine rehashes of fables of ancient authors, including medieval fables from the “Romul” collection and Byzantine fables. It is substantiated that he managed to create highly artistic and ideologically inspiring fables which adequately represent this genre in the Ukrainian literature.
