Aplicação do Mapeamento do Fluxo de Valor para otimizar a prestação de serviços no Setor Público

Abstract
This study aims to reduce the time of a process using the Value Stream Mapping - MFV under the concept of Lean Office in the administrative sector of a Municipal Education Department. The public sector has been growing at all times, requiring alignment to meet society's expectations. In this scenario, one of the main bottlenecks of the public sector is the time wasted in processes from execution to the proposed result. The type of research was applied, with data collection through a case study with direct participant observation technique and semi-structured interviews. With the aid of the principles of this study, the MFV was used to ensure that the decisions taken are based on data and facts, guaranteeing the validation of the results. This article proposes a new routine of processes that is prone to reduce the time in activities that do not add value.
