Application of Optimization Techniques of ANN in Experimental Design for Material Content Extraction
Journal Title: International Journal of Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical Fundamentals (www.ijeemf.com) - Year 2012, Vol 3, Issue 1
Abstract
Here we are using artificial neural net modeling and its optimization techniques for de-sulphurization of hot metal process. In this steel industry application, the sulphur content of hot metal, obtained at the end of calcium carbide powder injection into 400 ton torpedo ladles is predicted as a function of hot metal weight, treatment time, initial sulphur content, gas flow rate, and powder injection rate. Here the method of inverse control and optimal control problems are discussed and desired sulphur content in the hot metal are achieved by optimal algorithm.

ANALYSIS OF DYNAMIC INTERCONNECTION NETWORKS
To solve the problem of providing fast, reliable and efficient communication at a reasonable cost in large parallel processing systems, many different networks have been proposed. In this paper dynamic interconnection ne...
OPTIMIZATION OF EDM PARAMETERS OF STAINLESS STEEL MACHINING USING FUZZY LOGIC
Fuzzy logic is very much useful in the concept of machining, but there are so many types of machining. Here in this paper author’s main concern is on EDM i.e. Electrical Discharge Machining. The experimental part in this...
Strategic Analysis of Competitiveness for Global Manufacturing
Manufacturing organizations recognise that the business environment has varying levels of unpredictability. To serve such unpredictability, they utilise forecasting and decision modeling techniques at all levels (strateg...
12-BIT CMOS DIGITALLY CONTROLLED OSCILLATORS FOR ADPLL
This paper presented a new design of CMOS digitally controlled oscillators (DCO) for low power application. The CMOS DCO designed based on a ring oscillator. New design has been implemented driving strength controlled de...
ESTIMATION OF MASS DISTRIBUTION IN ANNULAR COMBUSTOR OF GAS TURBINE IN COLD FLOW USING CFD TOOLS
Since the gas turbine is an air-breathing engine, its performance is changed by anything that affects the density and/or mass flow of the air intake to the compressor. Ambient weather conditions are the most obvious chan...
