Applications of Artificial Neural Networks in Friction Stir Welding: A Review
Journal Title: The International Journal of Technological Exploration and Learning - Year 2014, Vol 3, Issue 3
Abstract
This paper gives a review on the applications of artificial neural network in friction stir welding. Friction stir welding is a fairly new solid state joining process and has found numerous applications including in aerospace, marine, automotive, railway and many more. Artificial neural network (ANN) is a valued research area. Study has been done on mechanical properties of weldements.

G.P.S. use in EHV and HVDC Transmission Line Protection
This paper presents a new technique G.P.S. (global positioning system) for EHV and HVDC transmission line protection. In this scheme, the relay restrains a fault transient detection system relay together with a commun...
Power Reduction in OFDM based Cognitive Radio Systems
The increasing demand for wireless communication introduces efficient spectrum utilization challenge. To address this challenge, cognitive radio has emerged as the key technology, which enables opportunistic access to...
Review of Reducing Routing Overhead in Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks by a Neighbor Coverage-Based Algorithm
Mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs) is collection of nodes, there exist frequent link breakages which show the way to frequent path failures and route discoveries. Broadcasting is a basic and useful data distribution dev...
A Study on Multi Material Gate All Around SOI MOSFET
As the continuous down scaling of MOSFET device is required to increase the speed and packaging density of it, but it reduces the device characteristics in terms of short channel effect and reverse leakage current. At...
Implementation of Different Low Power Multipliers Using Verilog
Low power consumption and smaller area are some of the most important criteria for the fabrication of DSP systems and high performance systems. Optimizing the speed and area of the multiplier is a major design issue....
