Archival collection of Archbishop Filaret (Gumilevsky): legends and historical reconstruction

Abstract
The article is devoted to the reconstruction of the composition and finding the location of the archival collection of the Archbishopric of Chernihiv, Filaret (Gumilevsky), which for a long time was considered lost. In order to find out the questions, the materials of the printed and manuscript descriptions of the collection of the Museum of the Church and Archaeological Society were rised, concluded by M. Petrov and O. Lebedev, reporting documentation on the activity of the church and archaeological society, diary records of A. I. Stradomsky, as well as publications of pre-revolutionary historians M. Lileeva and V. Drozdov about the fate of the manuscript collections of Filaret (Gumilevsky). In addition, as a result of the searches, it was possible to collect and specify biographical information about persons who were involved in the transmissions of a known collection using information and form lists. Its content is described, as well as the stages of transfer to museum organizations.
