Average man at the culture cross-roads

Abstract
The questions of Ukraine joining the world practice of using culture as economic resource are considered in the article. The author analyzes peculiarities of this process in the home cultural field. Special attention was given to recipients’ attitude to changes in the culture and art practices. In particular, the question is in the efforts of ideologists of culture industries in popularization and promotion of the contemporary art into the home art space.
